Email: lori@indigoblues.ca

Lori W. Law – Internationally known applied designer and artist Lori Law hails from Mildmay, Ontario, where quilting and sewing were often taught long before girls started school. Lori graduated from Guelph University in 1991 with a Bachelors degree in Fine Arts and Consumer Studies, and has specialized in home-based crafts and publishing businesses since 1993. Since 1999 she has been the proprietor of Indigoblues.ca, first as an online gallery, later expanding to include a full range of Internet support services. In 2005 Lori began a dynamic shift in her career, launching Oceanwind Knits, a web based knitware design and hand-dyed yarn company. Like everything else Lori has done in her professional life, Oceanwind Knits has literally taken off, supplying her unique designs and yarns all over the world (just ask her about shipping wool to Kazakhstan!). Now a recognized leader in the knitware design world, Lori attracts 'wool groupies' at industry exhibitions and conventions. Her designs have also appeared in print, notably the popular anthology One Skein Wonders and Vogue Knitting.

Recently Lori entered a new partnership to develop 'the complete online spinning / knitting / dyeing / weaving resource' Ennea Collective, a bi-monthly e-magazine!

In her rare moments of spare time Lori is an avid Blue Jays and Canucks fan who can be seen cheering on the team from the living room amidst piles of wool – madly pedalling her spinning wheel as she creates another pattern on her laptop.

Mark W. Law, CCP

E-mail: mark@indigoblues.ca

Mark W. Law – has been involved in computer technology and applications for more than 30 years, programming, maintaining and general tinkering with every imaginable computer from Burroughs mainframes to laptops. From his first Computer Science class at the University of Victoria in 1976 to developing his own content management system (OsoBlues), Mark has been most interested in how computers can be harnessed as tools to increase productivity. Originally from the wee hamlet of Campbell River, BC, Mark has worked in many parts of the world, including many Canadian provinces, the United States, Europe and even a sand-filled radio station in North Africa. Since 1994 Mark has concentrated on web based applications and development, along the way creating more than 200 business and personal websites as well as consulting on close to 500 others. For two years he taught adult education courses in computer science and web design at a community college in northern Canada at a time when the field of Internet development was so new he had to design and create his own teaching manuals! Since 2006 Mark has resided in Teeswater, Ontario, a small town with excellent high speed Internet, a perfect world!

Currently Mark publishes / edits / makes the coffee for Teeswater.ca, a local online newspaper as well as being house-daddy to a rather rambunctious 6 year old commonly referred to as The Junior General.

In his spare time Mark is also a published author, poet and internationally known digital artist – and yes he is STILL a RABID Canucks fan!
